The retirement services our SDM offers include employee and participant investment guidance and consultation.

There are two ways by which SDM can receive payment for their services. The first is by a fixed percentage of plan assets. The percentage tends to be anywhere between 0.25% and 0.5% of plan assets. The second option is by a flat fee which typically fluctuates between $5k to $10k. Both of these options resemble annual recurring income.
Client Success Story – Lagunitas Brewing Company (LBC)
SDM transitioned the Lagunitas Brewing Company retirement plan from SIMPLE-IRA to 401k/Profit-Sharing in 2011. Over the past three years, the company has grown from thirty-five employees to currently over four hundred. A flexible plan design of 401k allowed for customized waiting period, vesting schedule, and exclusion of part time. The transition to 401k also improved employee experience with education material, website, and reporting.
